He was born 和 raised in Atlanta, Georgia, United States to South Korean parents. Graduated from Boston College in 2011 with a degree in international studies 和 a minor in Asian Studies. Before starting his career in South Korea, 埃里克·南used to upload cover videos on Youtube where he got discovered 和 invited by MBC to compete on the popular program“Star Audition:Birth of a Great Star 2”where he was placed in the Top 5. With jump starting his career in South Korea he was the main host of After School Club for 4 years 和 left to focus more on his music career. He is also the go to personality to interview international stars such as Robert Downey Jr., Miranda Kerr, Matt Damon, Jamie Foxx, Andrew Garfield, Amanda Seyfried, Paris Hilton, Barbara Palvin, Emma Stone, Noel Gallagher, Ki Hong Lee, Benedict Cumberbatch 和 many more.
